House and Bedrooms




when you enter the house, on the right you will find the lounge where you can relax and browse through books and leaflets on the region.

                     

Further along on the left, the dinning room invites you to enjoy a breakfast of home made jams, breads and patisseries around a large monastery table .




At the top of the grand stone staircase a large corridor serves 4 bedrooms , with the names of Cathare Castles. they all have the hexagonal floor tiles and oak beams. Each is individually colour co-ordinated, with furniture found in  second-hand shops and "vide greniers", and fully equipped private bathrooms with WC

QUERIBUS room

                           Queribus, which can accomodate 3 people ( a large bed 160 cm and a bed 90 cm wide )
                                                                  benefits from sunshine all afternoon.
                                      You will
notice the mirror in the bathroom with a frame from driftwood.

PUILAURENS room

                                         Puilaurens is also for 3 people (a large bed 160cm and a bed 90cm wide).
                                                      This is the most romantique room with its pastel colours

                                                                  and canopied bed draped with pink voile.
                                                                     South facing, overlooking the garden.
PEYREPERTUSE room

                                Peyrepertuse, with its colour washed walls in warm tones, is the only room with a bath.
                                   It has a large bed, 180cm wide, which can be
separated into 2 beds of 90 cm wide.
                                                  The bedhead has been made from two 19th century bedheads.

AGUILAR room

                                 Aguilar is similar, and can accomodate two people in single beds or a large double.
                                                 They will sleep under a white canopy
and " trompe l'oeil" drape,
                                                                  giving the room an undefinable atmosphere.
